Citrus Degreaser Spray

Greasy spills and messes can be easily cleaned up with natural ingredients made at home.

This DIY Citrus degreaser spray works great on stove tops, counters, and dishes. The Castile soap and Baking Soda cut through the grease and the citrus oils leave a fresh scent.


You Will Need

  • 1.5 Cups Warm Distilled Water

  • 1 TBSP Baking Soda

  • 1.5 TSP Unscented Castile Liquid Soap

  • 10-15 Drops Orange Essential Oil

  • 10-15 Drops Lemon Essential Oil

  • Spray Bottle (12 Oz)

** If you don't have essential oils you can boil orange and lemon peels in the distilled water for 20 minutes, strain and let it cool to use


To Make

Combine all the ingredients in a spray bottle. Secure the nozzle, and shake well.


To Use

Spray on your stovetop, sink, or anything else that needs degreasing, Wipe with a damp sponge or cloth.

This spray also works well on oily dishes.


Note

  • Avoid using tap water, as it contains minerals that may leave a film or residue on your surfaces

  • Be sure to use warm water, as this will help dissolve the baking soda.

  • Feel free to use scented Castile Soap if you prefer
